MONSTA X’s Hyungwon will join the military in November
On October 20th, Hyungwon announced the news of his enlistment by posting a handwritten letter on his official fan cafe.
Hyungwon said, “I will join the army on November 14th. I feel more relieved than sorry because I have mentally prepared while watching the members’ enlistment.”
“I think MONBEBE worries are ahead of my own. MONBEBE always shield me whenever the wind blows, but my goal is to come back as strong enough to shield all the wind for MONBEBE,” he added. “I want to say thank you because MONBEBE has helped me grow so much during that time that I can stay away from them for a while. Thank you so much and I love you,” he said, expressing his affection for his fans.
Also, “The day of discharge is May 13th. I’m already excited to meet MONBEBE the next day. Let’s meet each other that day with a smile! I love you, MONBEBE,” he added.
Meanwhile, Hyungwon will become the fifth member of MONSTA X to join the army.
