On October 20, Cube Entertainment announced via I-DLE’s official social media accounts that Miyeon will release her second solo mini album, titled My, Lover, on November 3 at 6 PM (KST).
To accompany the news, an intro film for the album was revealed — a 1-minute 13-second visual that beautifully captures the shifting emotions between the beginning and end of love.
The video begins with flames rising against a wall, symbolizing the passionate start of a relationship. The word “My” appears, scorched in black, before the mood changes dramatically — thunder strikes, and raindrops fall, representing heartbreak and emotional cooling.
My, Lover visualizes love’s intensity, contrasts, and emotional depth — from fiery passion to quiet sorrow.
My, Lover serves as the second chapter in Miyeon’s “My” series, offering a more mature and introspective take on love. Fans can expect a collection of tracks exploring affection, loss, and emotional growth.

This marks Miyeon’s first solo comeback in over three and a half years since her acclaimed solo debut mini album My. Known for her clear tone and emotive delivery, Miyeon also participated in songwriting, including her self-composed track “Sky Walking,” highlighting her evolution as a singer-songwriter.
As one of K-pop’s most beloved vocalists, Miyeon’s return is generating buzz across online communities. Many fans have expressed excitement about hearing her deeper interpretation of love, both lyrically and musically.
One fan wrote on X (Twitter), “Miyeon’s voice is pure emotion — I can’t wait to see what stories she tells in this new album.”
With My, Lover, Miyeon is poised to showcase the sophisticated artistry and emotional resonance that make her one of the standout vocalists in the current K-pop scene.
