Mina Myoung Express Gratitude for Reunion and Finding Old Memories with Lia Kim on “Street Woman Fighter 2”

Mina Myoung revealed her feelings about the reunion with Lia Kim

On November 17th, in Seoul, a press conference for the end of Mnet’s ‘Street Woman Fighter 2‘ (‘SWF2’) was held. Dance crew leaders and PD Kim Ji-eun were in attendance.

Lia Kim opened up about reconciling with Mina Myoung through ‘SWF2,’ saying, “As you saw on the show, we have reconciled and are getting along well. We are also preparing for a concert together and doing well.”

She continued, expressing her initial concerns, “Honestly, at the beginning of the program, I was somewhat afraid of exposing these troubled aspects to the public. Nevertheless, I think that this program, rather than causing trouble, actually helped reconcile us, thanks to the fans. If we hadn’t appeared on ‘SWF2,’ we might have continued in a strained and difficult relationship. Participating in the program felt like gaining a good younger sister again, and in this process, I also had a lot of self-reflection and had a chance to look back.”

Mina Myoung said, “First of all, many people describe this as ‘reconciliation,’ and I think that’s an accurate description. I didn’t receive a request (from the PD), and I think I was a bit too immersed, so there were intense actions. Looking back, even though I knew that Lia Kim would be appearing, I decided to participate. After the elimination battle, I received a lot of strength from her that day, and as she mentioned, I’m grateful that I was able to find those old memories by appearing on the show. These days, we’re practicing well and chatting on social media. Please love us a lot. Thank you.”

‘SWF2’ is a reality survival program for female dance crews, determining the global dance ranking. In the finale on October 31st, 1MILLION, BEBE, JAM REPUBLIC, and MANNEQUEEN had the last dance battle, and BEBE became the final winner.

The program achieved 500 million cumulative views on YouTube and recorded a peak nationwide rating of 4.7%, continuing the popularity of season 1.

They will kick off the national tour concert ‘On The Stage’ starting from December 1st at the Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Olympic Park, Seoul, followed by shows in Busan, Daegu, Incheon, Suwon, and Gwangju.
