Min Hee-jin’s Side Exposes HYBE’s Illegal Audit, “Followed ADOR Staff To Their Home And Threatened”
Min Hee-jin, CEO of NewJeans’s agency ADOR, announced her official position on the audit of ADOR’s parent company HYBE
In an official press release on May 10th, Min Hee-jin’s legal representative Sejong Law Firm stated, “We would like to express our concerns regarding the possibility of an illegal audit on ADOR employees made by HYBE last night and a distortion of content”.
They continued, “Early this morning, ahead of ADOR’s board meeting, which will be held later today, an unsavory incident occurred. In particular, ADOR employees suffered from an illegal audit based on an unreasonable issue raised by HYBE’s audit team.”
According to the position, HYBE conducted an audit on the leader of ADOR’s style directing team at around 7 p.m. on May 9th, after working hours. The audit lasted for more than five hours until the morning of May 10th, and HYBE’s audit staff even followed the ADOR employee to their home and requested them to hand out their laptop and personal cell phone not owned by the company.
It is known that HYBE’s audit team even threatened the ADOR employee.
Meanwhile, ADOR’s CEO Min Hee-jin and HYBE are in a conflict as HYBE suspects the female CEO of attempting to take over the management rights of the label.
ADOR’s board of directors will hold a board meeting in Seoul on May 10th. CEO Min Hee-jin, VP Shin, creative director Kim, and other ADOR board members will attend the meeting, and the agenda is the convening of a shareholders’ meeting.
