Amid the ongoing contract dispute involving NewJeans, lawyer Noh Young Hee has relayed the latest position of former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin, shedding new light on the conflict.

During a live broadcast of “Maebul Show” on November 17, Noh explained that while ADOR confirmed the return intentions of two out of the five NewJeans members, the company claimed it was still “assessing the sincerity” of the remaining three. However, Min Hee Jin’s side believed all five members were on board to return.

According to Noh, Min Hee Jin expressed her frustration by stating, “The essence of this issue is an attack on me but please don’t use the girls. NewJeans only exists as five.” She emphasized that she didn’t want the members to suffer due to the legal conflict surrounding her.

Noh criticized ADOR’s stance, stating that since the court upheld the validity of the exclusive contracts, the members had no choice but to return to the company. “Time is critical for girl groups. ADOR’s hesitation in confirming the other three members’ intentions is disappointing and reflects an immature response,” she remarked.

She further stressed, “The key point is that the members wanted to return, and the company should support their activities. The longer this lawsuit continues, the greater the damage to the young members.”

Earlier, the court ruled in favor of ADOR in its lawsuit to confirm the validity of its exclusive contracts with NewJeans. On November 12, the agency announced that Hyein and Haerin had expressed their willingness to return. Soon after, Minji, Danielle, and Hanni also conveyed their intentions. However, ADOR responded by saying they were still verifying the authenticity of the three’s statement, causing noticeable friction between the two sides.
