According to MoneyS on November 13, Min Hee Jin stated, “The decision the members made yesterday (November 12) to return together must have come after much deep thought and discussion. I fully respect and support their choice.”
She continued, “Despite the hardships, I value the courage it took for the members to reunite in order to protect each other.”
Min also expressed her wishes for the group’s continued growth and well-being, saying, “I hope the members become stronger through this and that NewJeans evolves into an even better group. Most importantly, I wish for the happiness of all five members.”
She then clarified a key point regarding her own situation: “The lawsuit between myself and HYBE is entirely separate and unrelated to NewJeans. I am doing my best to handle it as an individual and hope the truth will be revealed in due time.”
This statement follows ADOR’s announcement on November 12, confirming that Haerin and Hyein had chosen to continue working with the agency. ADOR revealed that both members had deliberated with their families and ultimately decided to uphold the court’s ruling and their exclusive contracts.
Shortly after, Minji, Hanni, and Danielle also conveyed their decision to return through their legal representatives, stating that the decision was made after “careful consideration.” They explained that one member being in Antarctica caused delays and that a lack of response from ADOR prompted them to issue their statement separately.
However, ADOR later noted that it is “currently verifying the sincerity” of the trio’s decision, highlighting ongoing uncertainty in the process despite the collective declaration of return.
