Former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin (currently head of OOAK Records) has seen her legal battle with BELIFT LAB and Source Music temporarily halted.
According to the legal community on March 30, the Civil Division 12 of the Seoul Western District Court has changed the hearing dates for the damages lawsuits filed by BELIFT LAB and Source Music against Min Hee Jin to “undetermined dates.”

An “undetermined date” means that the court has not set a specific next hearing and will schedule it later, effectively placing the trial on hold. While the exact reason for the suspension remains unclear, legal experts speculate that it is closely tied to the ongoing appeal in the put option lawsuit between Min Hee Jin and HYBE. The trial is expected to resume after the outcome of that case becomes clearer. Notably, BELIFT LAB’s hearing was originally scheduled for March 27 but did not proceed and has now been converted to an undetermined date.

Previously, on February 12, the first trial court ruled in favor of Min Hee Jin in the 25.6 billion KRW put option dispute with HYBE. The court acknowledged that her concerns regarding plagiarism and alleged album pushing practices were valid, leading to the ruling. However, HYBE has since filed an appeal, keeping the legal battle ongoing. Many believe that the outcome of this appeal could significantly influence the lawsuits involving BELIFT LAB and Source Music, which may explain the suspension.
Separately, ADOR filed a damages lawsuit worth approximately 43 billion KRW last year against Min Hee Jin and Danielle, a former member of NewJeans. The first preparatory hearing for this case was held on March 26.
