Former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin has reportedly founded a new entertainment company, signaling a potential fresh start and perhaps a new home for the K-pop girl group NewJeans.
According to an October 24 report by Newstop, Min Hee-jin registered a new corporation named OOAK Co., Ltd. (OOAK – Only One Always Know) on October 16. The company’s stated business purposes include:
- Artist management and representation
- Music production and distribution
- Record label operations
- Concerts, events, and show production

The new company is located in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam, near Garosu-gil a trendy and upscale neighborhood in Seoul. A new building is reportedly under construction at the site. The initial capital for the company is listed at approximately 30 million KRW (around $22,000 USD).
Min Hee-jin also shared via her personal social media the launch of OOAK (One Of A Kind) Records, accompanied by a series of artistic sketches reflecting her signature aesthetic. Despite their simplicity, the drawings showcase Min Hee-jin’s distinct sense of style and artistic flair.

This move marks Min Hee-jin’s first official venture since she was dismissed from her role as CEO of ADOR the HYBE sub-label behind NewJeans in August 2024. She is currently embroiled in legal battles with HYBE over the termination of her shareholder agreement, a put option dispute, and contract issues involving NewJeans.

In November 2024, NewJeans notified ADOR of their intent to terminate their exclusive contracts. Two rounds of mediation have since failed. A court ruling on the case is expected on October 30, 2025.
Industry insiders speculate that if the court rules in favor of NewJeans, the group could move to Min Hee-jin’s newly founded label, OOAK. This would open a path for Min to continue working with the members independently.
With the establishment of OOAK Co., Ltd., Min appears to be gearing up for a fully independent creative and management operation one that could reshape the current K-pop landscape.
