On July 9th, Seoul Yongsan Police Station revealed that CEO Min Hee-jin would visit the police station at 2 p.m. and undergo her first defendant interrogation.
At 1:38 p.m. ahead of the interrogation, Min Hee-jin responded to the question “What will you focus on explaining?”, saying “I think I will just have to tell the truth”, adding “The breach of duty accusation doesn’t make sense at all”.
Earlier on April 26th, HYBE filed a complaint against Min Hee-jin with Yongsan Police Station. Accusing Min Hee-jin of breach of duty, HYBE claimed that the female CEO attempted to take over the management rights of the label ADOR.
However, Min Hee-jin’s representative responded that it is impossible to attempt to take over the management rights due to the stake structure and denied any actions that would harm the company’s value, including breach of duty.
