MBC Reviews “My Dearest” Broadcast Extension Plan, Episode On Nov 3rd Canceled For Baseball Match
There is a high possibility that “My Dearest” will continue with more episodes
The production team of MBC’s Fri-Sat series “My Dearest” is positively considering extending the drama so that viewers will be able to enjoy the love story of JangChae couple for a longer time.
MBC said, “Thanks to the huge popularity of the drama, discussion on extending the drama is positively considered. While the original end date is slightly delayed, we are adjusting the schedule”.
They continued, “Considering the result of the third game of the professional baseball postseason playoff, there is a possibility that the fourth game will broadcast on Friday (Nov 3rd). Episode 17 of ‘My Dearest’ will air on Saturday (Nov 4th) as scheduled”, adding “We will put more effort into improving the completeness of the remaining important scenes in the second half of the drama.”
“My Dearest”, which depicts the heartbreaking fates of Lee Jang-hyun (Namkoong Min) and Yoo Gil-chae (Ahn Eun-jin), is currently the most popular drama in the second half of 2023. It tops the rating chart of dramas of the same time slot and has dominated No.1 in the drama popularity ranking for three consecutive weeks since Part 2 began to air. In addition, the lead actors Namkoong Min and Ahn Eun-jin are also maintaining their No.1 and No.2 spots on the drama cast popularity ranking.
Regarding another reason for the extension of “My Dearest” broadcast, MBC said, “We will fully reveal the story we have prepared as much as the hard work we poured into producing it”.
