Former Nogizaka46 member and actress Matsumura Sayuri has announced the birth of her child, receiving an outpouring of congratulations from fans.
On March 12, Matsumura Sayuri shared the happy news through her social media accounts and YouTube channel. Along with the announcement, she uploaded a short vlog capturing moments from the day she gave birth.
Previously, on December 3 last year, Matsumura revealed that she had gotten married after about two years of dating rumors. At the same time, she surprised fans by announcing that she was expecting a baby, writing that she had both married and been blessed with a precious new life.
In the newly released YouTube video, Matsumura is seen experiencing labor pains, groaning and saying, “It hurts.” The footage then shows her arriving at the hospital to prepare for childbirth. While speaking with medical staff, she is occasionally overwhelmed by waves of pain, visibly struggling through the contractions.
Later in the video, she remarks, “So this is what labor feels like,” while enduring the intense pain. Shortly afterward, the vlog shows the joyful moment after the baby is born. Smiling brightly with the newborn beside her, she greets viewers and says, “Thank you. The baby has arrived.”
After the birth, Matsumura shared that her days are now filled with love and happiness as she focuses on caring for the “small and precious life” she has welcomed into the world. She also asked fans to continue watching over her warmly as she dedicates herself to motherhood.
Meanwhile, Matsumura Sayuri’s husband is known to be a non-celebrity. According to reports, he works as a company employee at a business in Tokyo.
Matsumura debuted in 2012 as a first-generation member of Nogizaka46. After leaving the group in 2021, she transitioned into acting and has appeared in various productions, including Cinderella Complex and Kakegurui, where she gained recognition from audiences both in Japan and internationally.
