“Marry My Husband” Viewer Rating Surpasses 10% After Showing Satisfying Revenge

According to the ratings research company Nielsen Korea on January 31st, episode 10 of tvN’s “Marry My Husband” airing at 8:50 p.m. on the previous day recorded a viewership of 10.7%.

The recent broadcast showed Kang Ji-won (Park Min-young), whose life ended in misery after being betrayed by her husband and friend, taking revenge in earnest. Having a second chance to go back to the past and correct her life, Kang Ji-won reveals the affair of her husband Park Min-hwan (Lee Yi-kyung) and her friend Jung Soo-min (Song Ha-yoon) in the company.

The news of the two’s relationship quickly spread in the company and on SNS. In addition, the accident that happened when the two went out to the mart together occurred again. Park Min-hwan was transferred to another department and Jung Soo-min was forced to leave the company after her contract expired.

In the meantime, Kang Ji-won returned home with Yoo Ji-hyuk (Na In-woo), her revenge helper, and they confirmed their feelings for each other. Episode 10 ended with the scene where they confessed their affection and shared a deep kiss.

Starting with 5.2% in the first episode, “Marry My Husband” is gaining popularity and breaking its own highest rating with satisfying revenge. After only three episodes, the drama easily exceeded the highest rating record of tvN’s Mon-Tue drama last year and surpassed “Military Prosecutor Doberman” airing in 2022. Following the hardships of the main character, “Marry My Husband” raised viewers’ immersion by presenting her cold-hearted revenge against the villains.

After highlighting the misdeeds of the villains, the way Ji-won, who knows the future, and the chaebol heir Yoo Ji-hyuk punish them gives viewers a sense of satisfaction.

“Marry My Husband” is also famous overseas. It ranked No.6 on the Worldwide rankings for TV shows on Amazon Prime Video in the first week of its broadcast in January and has dominated No.2 of the global weekly ranking for 3 consecutive weeks. It also topped Worldwide TV Show rankings in 33 countries, including Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, etc.
