“Marry My Husband” team will go on reward vacation to Vietnam in March “Lee Yi-kyung receives compensation for retirement rumors”

According to Star News on Feb 5th, the actors and production team of “Marry My Husband” are scheduled to go on a reward vacation to Vietnam in March.

Although there is about two weeks left until the end of the show, as the drama has been receiving great love, the production company arranged a reward vacation to acknowledge the hard work of the actors and production team. The “Marry My Husband” team has already finished filming the last episode and held a wrap-up party at a restaurant in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on Jan 15th.

“Marry My Husband” is a drama about Kang Ji-won (played by Park Min-young), who was murdered after witnessing her husband’s affair with her best friend. She goes back ten years earlier and begins her second life. The drama stars Park Min-young, Na In-woo, Lee Yi-kyung, Song Ha-yoon, Lee Gi-kwang, Gong Min-jeung and Ha Do-kwon. The drama has been enjoying high popularity, surpassing a viewership rating of 10% nationwide according to Nielsen Korea. In particular, Lee Yi-kyung, who plays the role of the “worst husband ever” Park Min-hwan, has been praised for his enthusiastic performance, even sparking “rumors of retirement” due to his role’s impact on the viewership ratings.

The drama has also received a great response overseas. It started off in the 6th place in the Prime Video Worldwide TV Show category in the first week of January when it premiered, and it has maintained the 2nd place in the global weekly rankings for 3 consecutive weeks from the 2nd week to the 4th week of January.
