“Marry My Husband” Reached 10% Ratings, Partly Thanks To Song Ha-yoon’s Perfect Villain Acting

“Marry My Husband,” which was first broadcast on January 1, is based on a webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of a woman who was killed after witnessing the affair between her best friend and her husband, going back to 10 years ago and having a second chance to live her life.

“Marry My Husband” started with 5.2% ratings during its first broadcast rating. Finally, it topped the double-digit ratings in the 10th episode. This is when Park Min-young’s revenge reached its peak as the affair between the two villains is exposed. The 10th episode of “Marry My Husband,” which aired on Jan. 30, depicts the refreshing revenge of Kang Ji-won who sent off the two enemies at once and started a new relationship with the male lead.

In “Marry My Husband,” Song Ha-yoon plays Kang Ji-won’s best friend, Jeong Su-min, who commits an affair with her husband Park Min-hwan and later kills Kang Ji-won. Jeong Su-min is Kang’s oldest and only friend, but she is a villain. In the original, Jeong Su-min was depicted as a small and cute person, unlike Kang Ji-won. In the drama, Jeong Su-min, portrayed by Song Ha-yoon, seems to have two faces. Song Ha-yoon drew the attention of viewers with her mournful yet jealous look.
