Whee-in used to think she could never become close friends with Hwasa

Whee-in mentioned her first impression of Hwasa.

The upcoming episode of MBC Every1’s “Tteokbokki Brothers,” which will air on May 24th, will invite Whee-in, a member of Korea’s strongest vocal group MAMAMOO who is also successful recently as a solo singer, under the theme of “Liberation.” Fans are excited to see the honest and cheerful side of a daily life Whee-in, which is different from the colorful singer Whee-in on stage.

MAMAMOO members Whee-in and Hwasa have been known as best friends since middle school. It is never easy to have a friend who dreams the same dream and works together in the same group.

Whee-in confessed, saying, “Hyejin (Hwasa) and I have been friends since middle school. When we first became classmates. I thought I would never get close to her,” she said, surprising the hosts. Viewers are curious about why Whee-in reacted like that towards Hwasa when she was in middle school and how the two became close and became members of MAMAMOO together.

On the other hand, Whee-in recalls her trainee days with Hwasa. Whee-in said, “Hyejin and I were trainees for three and a half years. There were a lot of difficulties, but I remember I didn’t have much money. I lived by splitting the allowance I received from my parents.” Whee In then surprised the hosts by saying, “But I never thought about giving up,” and “I thought about how to overcome it.”
