MAMAMOO, already 10 years since debut “It’s great to be able to look at each other and laugh”

On June 19th, MAMAMOO (Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, Hwasa) posted a commemorative image on their official SNS celebrating their 10th debut anniversary. MAMAMOO debuted on June 19th, 2014 and has since produced numerous hit songs. Their solid performances, including ad-libs, have positioned them as a representative skilled group in the music industry, transcending the idol category.

Through the agency, leader Solar said, “It doesn’t feel real that MAMAMOO is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Including our trainee period, we’ve known each other for about 13 years. It’s because of MOOMOOs (official fan club name) who have been with us since our debut that MAMAMOO exists today. I hope we can continue to create many good memories together.”

Moonbyul expressed her gratitude towards fans, “It’s amazing and surreal that we can now feel each other’s emotions without saying anything, as we’ve walked the past 10 years together with fans.”

Wheein said, “We’ve laughed a lot over the 10 years we’ve spent together. It feels nostalgic to think that both we and our fans have built many memories under the name ‘MAMAMOO’.“

Hwasa expressed her affection for the members, “The time the four of us have spent together over the past 10 years is precious to me.
