Former EXO member and top Chinese idol Luhan has come under renewed scrutiny following explosive claims made by influencer Tu Xiaodi, also known online as iamroosie. The allegations have reignited long-standing speculation surrounding his past relationship with actress Guan Xiaotong .
The controversy intensified as netizens revisited past timelines. In September 2021, Luhan and Guan Xiaotong appeared to still be dating, with Luhan publicly congratulating her on her birthday. However, on October 10, 2021, Luhan was seen wearing clothing that some online users claimed matched details in the bedroom photo later shared by Tu Xiaodi, including similarities in interior decor, tattoos, and outfit styling. This led to speculation that Luhan may have been involved with Tu Xiaodi while still in a relationship with Guan Xiaotong.
On January 3, Tu Xiaodi held a late-night livestream in which she claimed to have been involved with multiple male celebrities over the past decade. Public attention quickly focused on Luhan after she uploaded a private bedroom photo allegedly showing him asleep. Tu claimed the photo was taken when Luhan was intoxicated and had fallen asleep at her residence, stating that it was kept merely “as a memory” and insisting that no sexual relationship occurred between them.
In response, Luhan Studio quickly released two statements on January 3, denying the allegations and confirming that it would take immediate legal action, while cautioning the public against spreading rumors or speculation.
Luhan and Guan Xiaotong publicly confirmed their relationship in October 2017, at a time when Luhan was at the height of his popularity. Over the years, they maintained a relatively low-profile relationship, often marking each other’s birthdays and showing subtle signs of togetherness rather than making frequent public appearances.
Their relationship was believed to have remained stable until at least late 2021, before breakup rumors began to circulate rumors that neither party has ever officially confirmed.
