On Jan 19th, entertainment streaming service Disney+ announced the new drama “Light Shop” and unveiled the main cast lineup.
“Light Shop” is the fifth work in Kang Full’s “Mystery Psychological Anecdote” series. It surpassed 150 million cumulative views and has received praise and love from numerous readers.
Similar to “Moving”, Kang Full himself wrote the script for “Light Shop”.
Actor Kim Hee-won, who played Choi Il-hwan, the homeroom teacher at Jeongwon High School in “Moving”, will take on his first series directing with “Light Shop”.
The drama will feature trustworthy and acclaimed actors who will play mysterious characters surrounding “Light Shop”.
Firstly, actor Ju Ji-hoon, who achieved the status of a 10 million-view actor through the “Kingdom” series and movies “Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds” and “Along With the Gods: The Last 49 Days”, and actress Park Bo-young, who is continuously expanding her acting scope through the movie “Concrete Utopia” and the drama “Daily Dose of Sunshine”, will be the protagonists.
In addition to them, actors Bae Sung-woo, Uhm Tae-goo, Kim Seol-hyun, Lee Jung-eun, Kim Min-ha, Park Hyuk-kwon, Kim Dae-myung, Shin Eun-soo, Kim Sun-hwa and Kim Ki-hae will join the cast.
“Light Shop” is scheduled to be released on Disney+ in 2024.
