Recently, a video titled “Using Infinite Challenge’s 20th Anniversary as an Excuse” was uploaded on the YouTube channel “Face Genius Cha Eun-soo”, drawing fans’ attention.
In the video, Park Myung-soo revealed details of a phone conversation with Yoo Jae-suk, which quickly became a hot topic.
During the conversation, Park Myung-soo mentioned to Yoo Jae-suk that next year marks the 20th anniversary of “Infinite Challenge” and asked if he would consider preparing a special episode to greet fans.
Yoo Jae-suk responded positively, “Since next year is the 20th anniversary, we should have a discussion among ourselves.”
Following the call, Park Myung-soo also revealed that he had recently met with an MBC executive, who hinted that MBC is preparing something for the 20th anniversary.
After getting a positive response from Yoo Jae-suk, Park Myung-soo reached out to fellow member Haha.
However, Haha expressed mixed feelings “It’s hard to believe” and recalled that some members never watched the final broadcast of the show. He remembered trying to watch it but being too intoxicated to finish it.
Haha remained cautious, saying, “This isn’t something that can be easily discussed. As you know, it’s not a simple matter.“
Despite this, Park Myung-soo remained determined, emphasizing that the 20th-anniversary special episode would be a way to thank the fans who have loved “Infinite Challenge” for the past 20 years.
He further expressed his strong determination by stating, “Even if it’s just personally, I’ll do something.”
As the video spread, fans became increasingly hopeful about the possibility of a special broadcast commemorating Infinite Challenge’s 20th anniversary.
“Infinite Challenge” aired from 2005 to 2018, making its mark on Korean entertainment history. The show was loved for its unique concept and the chemistry among its members, and it continues to have a large and dedicated fanbase to this day.
