Lee Yi-kyung Visits Shinjuku Station In Japan For “Jeonyeokja” First Overseas Trip
Lee Yi-kyung is not only reviewing train stations in Korea but also exploring stations overseas with “Jeonyeokja” extended content
The new episodes of “ootb STUDIO” YouTube content “Jeonyeokja”, which gives review about various train stations nationwide, will show Lee Yi-kyung exploring Shinjuku Station and Toshimaeun Station in Tokyo, Japan.
The first part showing Lee Yi-kyung’s visit to Shinjuku Station will be released at 6 p.m. on March 12th. In fact, Shinjuku Station is the No.1 recommended station among “Jeonyeokja” viewers.
Arriving in Japan, Lee Yi-kyung is very excited about his first overseas shoot for “Jeonyeokja”. However, after hearing the production staff describe Shinjuku Station with about 200 exits and dense daily users, Lee Yi-kyung’s expression rapidly darkens. Entering the station later on, Lee Yi-kyung exclaims as soon as he sees the crowd, saying “There are so many people that I can’t stay focused right now”.
In addition, the production team also faces a crisis of “escaping from the maze” at Shinjuku Station. While moving to the recommended restaurant, some staff are left behind, while Lee Yi-kyung and the filming staff have a mental breakdown.
While looking for the staff who lost the way, Lee Yi-kyung says, “First of all, I need to survive”. Attention is focused on whether the actor and the lost staff will be able to reunite safely outside the station.
Part 2, scheduled to air on March 19th, will show the actor visiting Toshimaeun Station, known as a must-go place for Harry Potter fans. There, Lee Yi-kyung will welcome Sion and Sakuya, two members of SM’s rookie boy group NCT WISH, as his surprise guests.
NCT WISH recently recorded 370,000 pre-orders of their debut single “WISH” in Korea and Japan and also topped various music charts, such as No.1 on Japan’s Oricon Daily Single Chart. Their meeting with Lee Yi-kyung at Toshimaeun Station was actually filmed before their debut.
The production team of “Jeonyeokja” stated, “Through the first overseas trip, we will introduce both familiar and new aspects of overseas stations and share tips on how to use them. In addition, we will also show some hot places nearby for Korean tourists”, adding “ We hope this effort will provide useful information and bring entertainment to both travelers and local people.”
