On March 19, a new episode of the YouTube channel “Civilization Express” (문명특급) featured Lee Sobin alongside other guests. During the episode, she reflected on her past appearance on Star King in 2008, where she appeared as a child shaman.

She went on to describe alarming incidents that occurred as a result: “People came to my school and tried to drag me away, saying, ‘Just read this for me,’ or ‘Come to my house.’ I was almost kidnapped many times.” Due to safety concerns, teachers reportedly had to personally escort her while holding her father’s hand to ensure her protection.
Lee Sobin described her relationship with the show as complicated, calling Star King “a program I have both love and hate for.” Despite the hardships, Lee Sobin remains highly sought after. After appearing on Disney+’s Battle of Fates, her popularity surged again.
She revealed that her bookings are now fully reserved through 2029, adding: “I think I’ve become one of the hardest people to meet in the world. I’m not accepting any more reservations.”
