On the November 20 episode of SBS PowerFM’s Hwang Je-seong’s King Castle Power, Lee Seung Gi shared, “I have a younger sister, and when we were younger, one of her friends once said to her, ‘Wow, you really look like Lee Seung Gi.’” He added with a laugh, “Apparently, my sister strongly denied it, saying, ‘Why would I look like him?’ At the time, the friend didn’t know I was her brother and hadn’t been told yet. It seems she didn’t take the comment very well.”
The humorous recollection gave listeners a rare peek into his private family life.
Meanwhile, just a day earlier, on November 19, Woman Sense reported that Lee Seung Gi had gifted his parents a luxury townhouse in Sinhyeon-dong, Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province — a property he had owned for nearly a decade. He originally purchased the home in July 2016 for approximately ₩1.339 billion, but similar properties in the same complex were recently sold for ₩2.6 billion, indicating a significant increase in value.
The gifted townhouse features a 416㎡ (126-pyeong) lot and is a detached house with one underground and one above-ground floor. The total floor area of the building is approximately 289㎡ (87 pyeong).
In addition, Lee Seung Gi is currently enjoying marriage life in an ultra-luxury villa in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, secured with a deposit of ₩10.5 billion. He also reportedly purchased land in Jangchung-dong, Seoul, for ₩9.4 billion to construct a new standalone home.
