Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In reportedly gave their wedding guests luxury vases as return gifts
Singer-actor Lee Seung Gi and his wife, actress Lee Da In, presented a vase by famous artist Byun Hoon (Dohoyo) as a wedding return gift.
On April 23rd, an article titled “SNS of the person who received Lee Seung Gi’s return gift” was posted on an online community.
The article included the post of a guest who attended Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In’s wedding. The guest showed a letter and a vase presumed to be the wedding return gift from the couple.
The pictures reveal a white vase wrapped in a luxurious wooden box. It was a white porcelain vase by craftsman Byun Hoon (Dohoyo) with 40 years of experience. The vase has a round shape and is slightly larger than the size of a hand.
The price of this white vase is not known, but similar vases with a size of 12x12x12cm are confirmed to cost about 70,000 won each.
The guiding note explained the special nature of the gift, saying the vase looks small but it’s a difficult pottery product to make because of its low success rate. The message also stated that flowers put in the vase can last two to three times longer than those in a regular vase.
In the thank-you note, Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In said, “Thank you for giving blessings to our future, we hope that the flowers in the vase will bloom as we do. We will live beautifully to spread good scents to the world, filling it with the scent of our hearts. From Seung Gi, Ra Yoon.”
The couple expressed their determination to live beautifully in the future to the guests who attended their wedding and cheered for them
“Ra Yoon” in the letter is the real name of actress Lee Da In, who changed her name twice (Lim Yoo Kyung and Lee Joo Hee) before taking “Ra Yoon” as her official name. “Ra Yoon” is known to be a name resulting from her religion, Buddhism.
Meanwhile, Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In tied the knot on April 7th. It is known that the rental fee for the two’s wedding hall alone was at least 100 million won. The costs of flower decorations and ceremony production are said to be around 23 million won and 4.4 million won, respectively. Adding the cost of the return gift, the two’s wedding expense is estimated to reach up to 200 million won.
In addition, Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In recently suffered controversies surrounding their wedding. Through his SNS account, Lee Seung Gi recently expressed his honest feelings, saying “I’ve had a hard time due to various speculations, from dating rumors to recent news full of insult and ridicule.
