On September 2, Genie TV’s original drama Honour announced the casting of Lee Na-young, Jung Eun-chae, and Lee Chung-ah. The series is a mystery thriller about three women lawyers confronting the scandals of their past head-on. The trio portrays longtime friends who first met in college two decades ago and now work at L&J (Listen and Join), a law firm specializing in representing female victims of crime.
Lee Na-young takes on the role of Yoon Ra-young, the star lawyer of L&J. Known for her eloquence, striking beauty, and celebrity-like presence with hundreds of thousands of social media followers, Yoon serves as the firm’s public messenger. This marks Lee’s first time playing a lawyer. Behind her polished image, however, Yoon conceals deep scars and anxieties, only to be confronted by the shadows of her past. Lee’s dramatic transformation in this role is already drawing attention and raising anticipation.

Lee Na-young and Won Bin married in May 2015 in a small wedding ceremony in Won Bin’s hometown of Jeongseon, Gangwon Province. Seven months later, they welcomed their first son. As the couple rarely reveals details about their private lives, they have long been regarded as one of Korea’s most mysterious celebrity couples.
Won Bin, however, has stayed away from acting since his 2010 film The Man from Nowhere. Beyond commercials, he has not appeared in any productions despite multiple casting rumors and offers. Fans, while still loyal, cannot hide their disappointment at his prolonged absence.
Meanwhile, Lee Na-young has continued to explore diverse acting projects. She made her film comeback in 2017 with Beautiful Days, followed by the 2019 tvN drama Romance Is a Bonus Book alongside Lee Jong-suk, which solidified her reputation as a versatile and beloved actress. In 2023, she expanded her acting spectrum again with the Wavve Original drama One Day Off, even promoting it by appearing on BTS Suga’s YouTube program Suchwita, showing her dedication to her craft.

In an interview at the time, Lee was asked about Won Bin’s potential return to acting. She explained, “He watches diligently and admires good films. He is interested, and when the right opportunity comes, he will return. Please wait a little longer.”
Despite their contrasting career paths, Lee Na-young and Won Bin have quietly built a life together, respected both for their professionalism and mystery. Fans continue to send unwavering support to the couple—Lee for her bold acting transformations, and Won Bin for maintaining his enigmatic status in the Korean film industry.
Honour, adapted from the Swedish drama of the same name, will be directed by Park Gun-ho (Dongjae, the Good or the Bastard) and written by Park Ga-yeon (Train). It will premiere in the first half of 2026 on Genie TV and ENA.
