On January 5, actress Lee Min Jung appeared alongside Yoo Ji Tae on the YouTube talk show Jjanhanhyung Shin Dong Yup, where she shared candid stories about her early years.
When comedian Jung Ho Cheol remarked that she must have received plenty of attention from boys due to her looks, Shin Dong Yup added that it is rare for someone to be considered pretty consistently from childhood.

Lee Min Jung responded by recalling stories told by her mother.
“She said that when I was five or six years old—when kids are usually at their cutest—people would stop and say I was pretty. Apparently, I would get annoyed and say things like, ‘Don’t touch me,’” Lee Min Jung said, adding that she personally does not remember much from that time.
She also revealed that her appearance changed significantly during elementary school.

“From fourth to sixth grade, I ate a lot—hamburgers, then rice again when I got home. My weight back then was similar to what it is now,” she said. “I was growing about eight to nine centimeters each year. I only started dieting once I entered middle school.”
Lee Min Jung’s remarks drew laughter from the hosts, offering a relatable glimpse into her life before fame.
The actress continues to remain active in both television and film, while also appearing regularly on variety programs, where her candid personality has resonated with viewers.
