After denying dating rumors with Yoona, Lee Jun Ho reveals his honest feelings for his co-star on JTBC’s “Newsroom”
On July 3rd, Yoona (SNSD) and Lee Jun Ho (2PM) were exclusively reported to be dating. At the time, representatives from both sides denied the information, stating that the “King the Land” couple were just close friends in real life.
However, Lee Jun Ho himself recently “confessed” to Yoona on the July 9th episode of JTBC’s Newsroom.
In particular, when asked about his feelings while working with Yoona, Lee Jun Ho said that they can comfortably interact and deliver emotional performances due to their past collaborations.
However, when the host dug deeper into their relationship, asking, “Have you ever thought that you could genuinely love her if she were a girl like that?”, Lee Jun Ho said, “When you fully immerse yourself in a role, you can’t resist those emotions. Her smile is truly captivating. It feels as if I am being saved upon seeing that smile. I think my case is the same because my heart gradually melts bit by bit.”
Furthermore, when asked if Goo Won, Lee Jun Ho’s character in “King the Land”, resembles himself in real life, the idol-actor laughed. He then revealed that while Goo Won was bold enough to invite somebody to his house, Lee Jun Ho would rather invite his loved one for a meal.
On the other hand, Jun Ho and Yoona are currently the hottest couple in the Korean entertainment industry due to the craze surrounding their drama.
Both Yoona and Lee Jun Ho debuted as idols and later transitioned into acting. In 2020, they caused a stir with their explosive chemistry while performing the song “Love Never Felt So Good” at the MBC Gayo Daejejeon.
As a result, this chemistry continued into “King the Land”, and created a sensational drama with high viewership ratings. Currently, however, the series is facing criticisms and controversies for distorted representation after the appearance of an “Arab Prince” character.
