On February 4, Park Eun-bin hosted a live session on her Instagram for about 30 minutes, casually chatting with fans. During the broadcast, she shared her experience trying the trending “Dubai chewy cookie” and offered lighthearted advice on everyday concerns, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

However, during the live stream, Lee Joo-hyung commented from his verified Instagram account, asking Park Eun-bin to “please speak in the Woo Young-woo tone,” referencing her iconic role in the hit drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo. Park did not respond to the comment.

Afterward, a netizen captured the comment and shared it online, writing, “Park Eun-bin is extremely cautious about imitating Woo Young-woo’s way of speaking. You should be careful too.” The post quickly gained attention, with many agreeing that the request was inappropriate.

Park Eun-bin has previously made her stance clear in interviews, stating that she was very careful not to mimic or caricature the speech patterns or behaviors of people on the autism spectrum while portraying Woo Young-woo. She emphasized that doing so would be ethically wrong and that she felt a strong responsibility as an actor not to use such traits as a mere dramatic device.

Against this backdrop, Lee Joo-hyung’s comment was seen by many as thoughtless, sparking criticism rather than amusement. While some argued it may have been meant casually, the overall public reaction remained chilly.

Meanwhile, Lee Joo-hyung, who was selected by the LG Twins as the 13th overall pick in the second round of the 2020 rookie draft, was traded to the Kiwoom Heroes during the 2023 season.
