In a recent video, actor Lee Je Hoon coolly responded to accusations of him having become greedy for money.
On August 5th, Lee Je Hoon made a guest appearance on the YouTube channel “Aglory”.
Here, the actor, who has operated his one-person agency for two years, was asked, “The public is wondering if you’ve become greedy for money? What do you think of these silly comments?”
In response, Lee Je Hoon gave the coolest response, saying, “It doesn’t mean much. I want to be an actor forever.”
Afterwards, the actor went on to explain the process of him starting a one-person agency, stating, “I left the agency and thought about whether to go to another agency or go alone. If you go to a different company and get along well for 2 or 3 years, there’s a business situation called re-signing. If we don’t get along well, we have to find another company. This will continue to happen again and again, so even if it’s a little hard at first, I thought, ‘Let’s start by ourselves’. That’s how I decided to try it.”
To the question, “Don’t you regret that choice?”, Lee Je Hoon further shared, “It’s been 2 years since I’ve run a company, and I have a lot of thoughts. I started with confidence. I have to take responsibility for the people I work with. I have to pay them, rent, car rent, fixed costs for operations are real problems”.
Despite these worries, however, Lee Je Hoon confessed that he has became even more focused on acting, because he have to pay the employees
“If I can’t act and become useless, everything disappears. I think acting is more important than ever. I’m very focused, even if there’s a work that I don’t like”, the actor added.
He also expressed his honest thoughts on dating. When asked “Have you ever dated a fellow celebrity?”, Lee Je Hoon replied, “According to my dating standards, there’s a standard that I don’t meet at my workplace. It would be great if things go well at work, but if we break up, we can’t see each other again. We can’t work together.”
He also explained, “My goal this year is to meet someone and date someone.”
Finally, to the question “Is there a standard that you want your lover to be like this?”, he said, “I value the courtesy of respecting adults. Manners are important. I want to stay away from people who have no manners.”
