Lee Jae-wook’s Agency is Trying to Pin the Blame on Karina, Said Fans
The various statements of Lee Jae-wook’s agency, C-JeS, is being discussed by netizens with mixed reactions.
As Lee Jae-wook and Karina officially went their separate ways, many fans are finding the statements issued by Lee Jae-wook’s side to be problematic.
First of all, back in February, when Dispatch first reported Lee Jae-wook and Karina’s dating news, C-JeS was known to have initially denied the news before suddenly confirming it – all before SM even released an official statement. Additionally, C-JeS also confirmed the break up on April 2 before SM, leading to fans speculating that C-JeS was “forcing” SM to compile with their words.
Fans also find fault with the words of C-JeS regarding the breakup news. In particular, in their recent statement, the agency wrote that “Lee Jae-wook decided to break up with Karina” in order to focus on his career and the filming of a new work, as if the decision was made one-sidedly by the actor.
Meanwhile, SM phrased their statement much more tactfully, stating that “Karina and Lee Jae-wook decided to split ways”.
On the other hand, TenAsia previously reported that the breakup was due to “malicious comments” and “feeling of guilt towards fans” – reasons completely different from C-JeS. Many fans thus believe that this article was trying to pin the blame on Karina regarding the breakup.
