Lee Jae-wook and Jung So-min’s new drama “Alchemy of Souls” created by the writer of “Hotel del Luna” releases teaser

The new work by Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran, who wrote tvN’s hit drama “Hotel del Luna”, has finally been unveiled.

On May 7th, tvN raised the viewers’ expectations by releasing a teaser video for the drama “Alchemy of Souls”, which is set to premiere on the 18th of next month.

The teaser shows Lee Jae-wook appearing as Jang Wook, a character who looks calm but is actually a fiery young man. Jang Wook is a man whose secret of his tragic birth is talked about by everyone in the country. He is relaxed and cool on the outside but has a bad temperament inside.

Jung So-min plays the role of Mu Deok-yi, an enthusiastic person trapped inside the body of the weakest person in the world. She is expected to make people laugh by portraying a character with a charismatic “spirit” and a weak body that does not follow her will. As Jang Wook’s servant and secret teacher, Mu Deok-yi secretly teaches him in a heinous way.

The drama is set in a country called Daeho, which does not exist in history or on maps.

“Alchemy of Souls” is a fantasy romance drama that depicts the growth of the protagonists who try to overcome their fates, which were twisted due to a soul-changing marriage. The drama was directed by Park Joon-hwa, who made tvN’s “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?” and “Touch Your Heart”.

Attention is focusing on whether the teaming up of Hong Sisters and director Park Joon-hwa, who have gained the trust of the viewers, will once again make a successful work with “Alchemy of Souls”.
