Singer-actress Uhm Jung Hwa delivered Lee Hyori’s review after watching “Doctor Cha”.
Uhm Jung Hwa recently had an interview with Wikitree in Gangnam-gu, Seoul and talked about various stories regarding JTBC’s drama “Doctor Cha”.
“Doctor Cha“, which ended on June 4th, follows the story of Cha Jeong Suk (Uhm Jung Hwa), a housewife of twenty years who becomes a first-year medical resident. In the drama, Uhm Jung Hwa played the role of Cha Jeong Suk, a full-time housewife of twenty years who decides to return to her medical career after surviving an unexpected crisis.
Uhm Jung Hwa is also on stage with Kim Wan Sun, Lee Hyori, BoA and Mamamoo Hwasa in tvN’s entertainment program “Dancing Queens on the Road”.
Uhm Jung Hwa, who greeted her second heyday by being active in both acting and singing, said, “I was happy because the drama was so loved, and it was a time that I looked forward to every week. Interestingly, the drama’s airing time coincided with ‘Dancing Queens on the Road’.”
What was the reaction of Lee Hyori, the only married woman in “Dancing Queens on the Road”? Uhm Jung Hwa caused laughter by revealing, “Hyori asked when Cha Jeong Suk was going to get divorced. She said that Cha Jeong Suk should date Roy (Min Woo Hyuk) and that she got vicarious satisfaction. Now that the drama is over, she told me to find a young boyfriend or date someone.”
