The new preview for “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938” released on April 26 features Lee Dong Wook getting caught up in an unavoidable fight in a chaotic era.

“Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938” is a K-fantasy action drama about the nine tailed fox Lee Yeon, who crash-lands in 1938 during a chaotic era and fights to return to modern times. 

With a unique worldview that skillfully weaves together indigenous gods and monsters, the drama boasts dynamic action, an expanded scale, and diverse characters from Korean mythology.

In the newly released preview, Lee Dong Wook finds himself surrounded by enemies upon his arrival in 1938. Despite the fact that he could easily sweep away an army marching on Korean soil, his old friends Ryu Hong Joo (Kim So Yeon) and Cheon Moo Young (Ryu Kyung Soo) treat him like a child, saying “you’re still cute?“

His plans are thrown off course when he is attacked by his “estranged younger brother” Lee Rang (Kim Bum). Lee Dong Wook goes to find a mysterious man to save him. The man proposes a trade, asking for something that will exchange his lifespan. Unfortunately, the item is in the hands of Lee Dong Wook’s 1938 self, who he believes is in the “worst place.”

Thus, the battle between Lee Dong Wook and his 1938 self begins in a fiery clash.
