On August 10th (Korean time), the South Korean women’s table tennis team (Shin Yu-bin, Jeon Ji-hee, and Lee Eun-hye) won 3-0 against the Germany team in the match for the bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics held at South Paris Arena 4 in Paris, France.
During the match, actor Lee Dong-wook and SHINee’s Minho were suddenly captured on the broadcast screen, drawing keen attention. The two cheered for the South Korean team enthusiastically and enjoyed the game so much.
In fact, Lee Dong-wook and Minho were selected as “Olympics Friends”, which is an honorary title for the people who promote the Olympics on behalf of the International Olympic Committee. As such the two are currently staying in Paris.
Minho even posted a picture of him visiting the venue to support the South Korean team with Lee Dong-wook on his Instagram account. The male idol also added a caption, saying “With my bro, we will win!”.
