LE SSERAFIM’s Chaewon & Kazuha are Victims of False Dating Rumors from Japan? 

On April 3rd, HYBE denied the dating rumor between LE SSERAFIM’s Kazuha and K – a member of HYBE Labels Japan’s boy group &TEAM.

Earlier on the same day, Japanese media site Shukan Bunshun reported that Kazuha is seriously dating a handsome idol 6 years older than her, who is 186cm tall. It was added that the two enjoyed a date for about 2 hours at a high-end yakiniku restaurant located in Ginza, Japan, on March 17 last month, and started dating around the summer of 2022.

Since both LE SSERAFIM and &TEAM belong to HYBE Labels, netizens speculated about the birth of a same-company couple, but the quick explanation put an end to it. In particular, Kazuha’s agency, Source Music, stated that the two had a meal together as friends. 

Last January, Shukan Bunshun also alleged that Kim Chaewon was dating male rapper A.

However, it was revealed that the photo in question was photoshopped, and the original photo was a selfie of Kim Chaewon and fellow LE SSERAFIM member Sakura. Source Music also immediately clarified that the dating rumor was not true at the time.

Meanwhile, A, who was identified as the alleged lover of Chaewon, also expressed bewilderment, saying, “I am just a fan of Kim Chaewon. The photo was edited.”

The dating rumor involving Kim Chaewon was exposed as an unfounded hoax, leading netizens at the time to question the credibility of Shukan Bunshun. In particular, fans of LE SSERAFIM urged for strong measures against those who tarnished the artist’s reputation with manipulated photos.

Accordingly, Shukan Bunshun also announced that they would release additional photos of Kazuha and K on April 4, sparking curiosity about what cards the media outlet will play this time
