LE SSERAFIM Sakura discloses a mature mindset, shining despite lacking screen time and spotlight
In a recent interview with Weverse magazine, LE SSERAFIM Sakura reveals an admirable mindset, which is cultivated after years in the industry.
LE SSERAFIM Sakura recently had an interview with Weverse magazine, where she discussed the idol mindset, her image, and her own life perspective. She also admitted to being immature, self-centered, and only thinking of herself when she first debuted.
Sakura also added that she believes that it may be possible for idols to get lucky and become successful in the short term, but the real problem lies in holding onto that success for a long time.
Sakura, who can’t go on any rides at amusement parks and hates scary things, falls back in the “FEARLESS” trailer as if she has no fear. Regarding this, she shared that she “hate to be the person whose issues are bringing things down” when there’s something that needs to be done, so she will do things even if she has a little courage.
As she has a lot of experience, it is possible for Sakura to ask the staff to adapt the shooting environment to her, but instead, the female idol chose to adapt herself to the environment.
She admitted to being haughty in the past, saying, “ I think I was immature, self-centered and only thinking of myself when I first debuted. But I learned there’s certain things you should say and do to be considerate of others and build a good relationship the longer I’ve been an idol.”
According to Sakura, personality is the most important element of a celebrity.
“I think a celebrity’s abilities and talents are important, but even more important is what kind of person they are. If you’re going to work together for a long time and make it enjoyable, the people you’re working with have to want to work with you, too. That’s the kind of person I want to be, and that’s the kind of group I want LE SSERAFIM to be, too”, she said.
On the other hand, many fans are believing that HYBE and Source Music are trying to limit the popularity of Sakura, as the female idol is barely given any killing parts or point choreographies, and hot topics often ignore her name.
Nevertheless, Sakura is still a shining star even with her meager screen time in MV and performances, and her matured mindset draws a lot of admiration.
