“Shame-play” is a Korean slang that refers to the act of creating or forcing a situation that can shame a specific person. In particular, the post includes a screenshot of the lyrics of LE SSERAFIM’s new song “Pierrot,” which points out the unnecessary mentioning of veteran singers such as IU and Lee Hyo-ri in the line “IU and Lee Hyo-ri, who’s next?”
The post became viral with 119,784 views and countless comments. Many comments agree that the lyrics are too awkward, while others point out that other singers such as Kim Wan-sun and Uhm Jung-hwa are also mentioned in the first verse of the song, in particularly the line “Kim Wan-sun and Uhm Jung-hwa, who’s next?”
