LE SSERAFIM Criticized for Ridiculous Merch Prices: 39 Dollars For 1 Sticker?

The outrageous prices of merchandise at LE SSERAFIM’s pop-up shop has sparked a wave of criticisms from netizens.

Recently, a pop-up shop selling LE SSERAFIM merch was opened by HYBE in Melbourne, Australia. While a lot of fans are excited to get their hands on official merch, the price tags have simply been shocking – in a negative way.

In particular, according to pamphlets and price catalogs of the pop-up store, 1 basic T-shirt is sold for 169 Australia dollars (hereinafter referred to as AUD, equivalent to approximately 115 USD). Meanwhile, a jacket costs as high as 795 AUD (approx over 500 USD). Even the smallest item – a sticker – is on sale for 39 AUD (approx 27 USD).

Netizens who saw the outrageously expensive items have since taken their ire to SNS, with comments flooding in, criticizing both HYBE and LE SSERAFIM.

According to fans, it is understandable for merch to be a little pricey, but LE SSERAFIM’s merch’s price tag is going too far, especially when compared to other artists.
