According to Star News on March 16th, LE SSERAFIM will release a new album in early May and start comeback activities.
After the release of the album, LE SSERAFIM will meet fans through various activities such as appearing on music shows.
This comeback is expected to be a full-fledged activity in the second year of the debut of LE SSERAFIM, which has established itself as one of the representative K-pop girl groups.
LE SSERAFIM’s Japanese debut single “FEARLESS” sold more than 500,000 copies as of February and obtained the Recording Industry Association of Japan’s “Double Platinum” certification. LE SSERAFIM is the first K-pop group to reach the “Double Platinum” rank with its local debut single. This is K-pop’s first achievement in 20 years since the association’s certification standards were changed in July 2003, and LE SSERAFIM is the only team to exceed 500,000 copies with a Japanese debut single.
According to the latest chart (week of March 18th) announced by the American music media outlet Billboard on March 14th (local time), LE SSERAFIM ranked 83rd in “Billboard Global Excl. U.S.” and 178th in “Billboard Global 200” with its second mini-album’s title song “ANTIFRAGILE”.
Based on the latest chart (counting period March 3rd~9th) released by Spotify, the world’s largest streaming company, the song was listed as the “weekly top song” in 10 countries (regions).
LE SSERAFIM also showed its unique presence on major music charts in Korea. “ANTIFRAGILE” ranked 11th, 9th and 11th on Melon, Genie and Bugs’ latest weekly charts (counting period March 6th~12th), respectively. “ANTIFRAGILE” has been in the top 11 on the weekly charts of major music sites in Korea for 21 consecutive weeks.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM will hold its first solo fan meeting “FEARNADA 2023 S/S” at Olympic Hall, Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul on March 18th~19th.
