Previously, on March 28, A publicly questioned whether Sulli had been pressured into filming nude and bed scenes in “Real,” despite the availability of a body double. He called for statements from Kim Soo-hyun, the film’s lead actor, and director Lee Sa-rang, who is Kim Soo-hyun’s cousin.
“Real” is a noir film centered around two men entangled in the operations of Asia’s largest casino. Despite its massive budget of 11.5 billion won (~$8.6 million), the film was a box office flop, drawing only 470,000 viewers. Director Lee Sa-rang is a co-founder of Gold Medalist, Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, where he currently serves as the Chief Creative Officer.
