Late Jang Ja-yeon’s former agency CEO files criminal complaint against former manager and Yoon Ji-oh “Perjury + defamation”

A’s legal representative, Attorney Kim Young-sang, announced on Feb 15th that they have filed a criminal complaint against Kim, actor Kang Ha-neul’s manager, and actress Yoon Ji-oh. Yoon Ji-oh’s case has been suspended due to unknown whereabouts.

A filed a criminal complaint last year against Kim, the CEO of TH Company, where Kang Ha-neul is currently affiliated, for charges including perjury and defamation. The attorney explained the reasons for the complaint, citing instances of perjury committed by Kim and false statements made by Yoon Ji-oh.

The complaints against Kim and Yoon were already filed by A in 2021, with each party being sued for damages. Kim refuted the accusations, stating that they have never made any false statements regarding the Jang Ja-yeon case and will take legal action against the defamation and unjust lawsuits.

Additionally, A’s legal representative provided information about a lawsuit filed by former TV Chosun CEO Bang Jung-oh against MBC and the production team of “PD Note” regarding coverage of the Jang Ja-yeon case, stating that they partially won the case in both the first and second trials.
