Singer Kyuhyun’s agency asked fans to be careful of impersonations
On December 12th, agency Antenna posted on Kyuhyun’s fan community, saying “We would like to inform you that there are cases of people impersonating the artist on the Weverse community. We recently identified individuals who impersonated the artist and attempted fraudulent acts through Weverse community comments”.
They continued, “Since this matter can cause monetary damage, Antenna is consistently receiving reports of comments and accounts”.
Moreover, the agency emphasized, “Please remember that the artist and staff members will neither make personal contact with anyone on Weverse nor ask to get your money”.
They added, “Please check Weverse notice when using the community to prevent such damages”.
Meanwhile, Kyuhyun plans to release his new EP “Restart” through various music sites at 6 p.m. on January 9th, 2024.
