Super Junior’s Kyuhyun stunned viewers after revealing a series of shocking incidents involving his past managers—ranging from theft to illegal driving and even reverse driving during a police chase.

The story aired in Episode 5 of Netflix’s variety show Three Idiots in Kenya, released on December 2.

During a meal with castmates Lee Soo-geun and Eun Ji-won, Kyuhyun opened up about some of the wild experiences he endured while working with nearly 70 different managers throughout his career. Eun Ji-won emphasized, “This isn’t something you listen to half-heartedly. These stories are serious.”

Kyuhyun recalled one of the most disturbing incidents involving a manager with a stealing habit.

According to him, member Yesung once walked into the dorm and noticed the manager acting suspiciously in what looked like a small storage space.

“Yesung-hyung asked, ‘What are you doing here?’ and the manager just said, ‘No, it’s nothing,’” Kyuhyun explained.

But when Yesung opened the door, they discovered a box containing all the items members had mysteriously lost over time. The manager had been secretly hoarding them.

The manager even knelt down and begged Yesung to keep it a secret. Despite being fired, Kyuhyun later learned that the same man reappeared in the industry—working as another singer’s manager.

“That was the scariest part,” Kyuhyun said.

The next story was even more terrifying.

Kyuhyun detailed an incident at Konkuk University intersection, where a manager suddenly made an illegal U-turn. A police car immediately activated its siren and began chasing them.

Instead of stopping, the manager floored the gas pedal. “I said, ‘Hyung, what are you doing?’ but his eyes had changed,” Kyuhyun recalled. “He said, ‘Kyuhyun-ssi, my license is already suspended. I can’t get caught.’”

Panicked, Kyuhyun sat frozen as the manager drove in reverse, narrowly avoiding an oncoming motorcycle who, realizing what was happening, slowed down deliberately to avoid an accident.

Eventually, the car hit a dead end.

At that moment, the manager made an unbelievable request. “He asked me to switch seats with him so it would look like I was the one driving,” Kyuhyun said. “I told him, ‘Hyung, should I take responsibility for the reverse-driving too? That’s impossible.’”

Moments later, police opened the door and arrested the manager.

“It sounds like a lie, right? But there’s not even a grain of MSG in this story,” Kyuhyun told the cast, leaving everyone speechless.

Kyuhyun’s candid revelations quickly became a hot topic online, with many viewers expressing shock at the dangerous and absurd situations he had endured early in his career.
