On August 11, Yuri uploaded a video titled “Are You Okay? The Horse Got Spooked?! Jeju Horseback Riding” to her YouTube channel.

The singer and actress visited a Jeju riding club, continuing a hobby she first picked up about 10 years ago through acquaintances including After School’s Kahi, actresses Jeon Hye Bin, and Hwang Shin Hye.

Yuri began the day riding a horse named Jasolbi, but after noticing some instability, she switched to another horse, Songi. While riding through a forest trail and along the beach, Songi stepped awkwardly on uneven ground, causing Yuri to lose balance and fall.

She landed on her back and bumped her head but quickly stood up, assuring those around her, “I’m fine.” She recalled, “It was my first fall. I think I got scared and let go of the reins. Luckily, I fell onto something soft.”

Despite the mishap, Yuri’s first concern was for the horse’s well-being. Determined to overcome any fear, she got back on Songi and completed the ride. When told the fall had been captured on a drone camera, she laughed, saying, “You filmed it? That’s hilarious.”

Afterward, she bonded with Songi by washing the horse and sharing watermelon. “Even though I was thrown off, I feel like we became closer,” Yuri said. “Riding a Hallama horse in Jeju really relieved my stress. Horseback riding takes a lot of physical energy but is also great for mental health. Safety, however, requires thorough training.”
