The VIP premiere of Hope was held on July 14 at Megabox COEX in Gangnam, Seoul. The event was attended by an impressive lineup of stars, including BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Jisoo, Lee Jung-jae, Hyeri, Park Hae-soo, Jin Ki-joo, Lee Ji-ah, Yum Jung-ah, Son Yeon-jae, Cha Tae-hyun, Yoo Teo, Hong Hwa-yeon, Park Ji-hu, Irene, Hong Ye-ji, Im Joo-hwan, Baek Ji-young, Shim Eun-kyung, Ong Seong-wu, Choi Moo-sung, Im Soo-bin, and many others.
Among the attendees, Yoo Ah-in also drew attention after making a rare public appearance. The actor, who was convicted of repeatedly using medical narcotics including propofol and received a one-year prison sentence suspended for two years, was released after serving five months in detention. He attended the event wearing a cap pulled low over his face. Actor Kwak Do-won, who was previously fined 10 million won after being caught driving under the influence in Jeju with a blood alcohol level of 0.158%, also appeared at the premiere.
Many celebrities showcased luxury handbags, towering high heels, and figure-hugging outfits, creating a glamorous atmosphere. In contrast, Kwon Nara immediately caught fans’ attention with her fresh, natural style. She wore a simple white short-sleeved T-shirt, wide-leg pants, and a black baseball cap pulled down low.
Although the cap covered part of her face, her small face, striking facial features, and tall, slender figure made her instantly recognizable. Despite quietly entering the venue without posing on the official photo wall, fans at the event quickly spotted her and snapped photos that later spread across social media. Her tiny waist, elegant curves, and exceptionally long legs became one of the most talked-about visuals from the premiere.
Meanwhile, Hope is a sci-fi thriller that begins after reports emerge that a tiger has appeared in Hopo Port, a village located near the Korean Demilitarized Zone, throwing the entire community into panic. Produced with a budget of approximately 50 billion won, the blockbuster stars Hwang Jung-min, Jo In-sung, and Jung Ho-yeon in leading roles.
