On August 26, Kwon Mina shared a photo and a brief personal update on social media, writing, “Hi, it’s been a while. This photo was from last year when I went to see Yoonji. My hair is longer now. I really want to visit Busan again soon.”
She then added, “I’ve quit the clinic. Please don’t send any packages there,” officially confirming her departure from her role as a consulting manager at the dermatology office.
Earlier this year in January, Kwon shared with fans that she had obtained two professional certifications in pursuit of a long-held personal dream. In March, she proudly announced her employment at a clinic, expressing her excitement: “ The opening is really happening soon. Please show lots of interest and look for Director Kwon Mina.”
Her recent update marks a career shift once again for the singer-actress, who originally debuted in 2012 as a member of AOA and gained attention both as a performer and actress. Kwon left the group in 2019 and later made headlines by alleging she had been bullied by former leader Jimin, which ultimately led to Jimin’s departure from the group.
