According to an exclusive report by MyDaily on May 23, Kwon Eun-bin recently ended her contract with Cube Entertainment, the agency she had been with for 10 years. The report also stated that she has informed people around her that she no longer intends to continue entertainment activities.
The news quickly drew attention because Kwon Eun-bin had continued working as an actress after CLC’s disbandment. However, according to the report, her information has already been removed from portal sites. Industry insiders reportedly said there was no particular incident behind the decision. Instead, Kwon Eun-bin had often mentioned that she wanted to live as a non-celebrity.

Cube Entertainment previously confirmed the end of her exclusive contract, stating, “After long discussions with Kwon Eun-bin, we have decided to end her exclusive contract. We thank her for her hard work and sincerely support her future.”
Kwon Eun-bin debuted in 2015 as a member of the 5-member girl group CLC. She gained wider recognition the following year after appearing on Mnet’s Produce 101. Although she did not make the final debut lineup, she returned to CLC and continued group activities.

CLC officially disbanded in June 2022, but Kwon Eun-bin remained active as an actress. She appeared in dramas including Bad Papa, Somehow Family, At a Distance, Spring Is Green, Dear.M, and Check-in Hanyang. Her reported decision marks the end of a 10-year chapter that began with idol activities and later moved into acting. While fans may be surprised by the sudden update, Kwon Eun-bin now appears ready to leave the spotlight and begin a new life outside the entertainment industry.
