Episode 3 of ENA’s entertainment program “When I Open My Eyes”, which aired on May 23rd, featured the guest appearance of Kim Dong-hyun and Kwon Eun-bi.
On the broadcast, Kim Dong-hyun took on the challenge to drive a rickshaw in Hanoi, Vietnam alone without help. He met some Korean customers and chatted with them. Later, he even had an impromptu arm-wrestling match with his customer, heating up a corner of Hanoi. After the fierce competition, the opponent shouted “Time” and the game ended in a draw.
Meanwhile, Kwon Eun-bi became a student at Taipei Performing Arts High School and showcased her K-pop idol qualities during a sudden choreography test in a dance class. Taking the test with the choreography she had never learned before, Kwon Eun-bi managed to pass it after glancing at her friends.
Receiving a graduation assignment to form a team and film a dance challenge video, Kwon Eun-bi started practicing with her friends and drew admiration for the way she led the dance practices seriously. Seeing that, Jo Se-ho commented, “The leader of IZ*ONE is really something else. She’s even stricter than the teacher”.
After practicing, Kwon Eun-bi and her friends visited Lehua Night Market to create memories. Putting aside the concerns about dieting, she enjoyed all kinds of food there. She also played a claw machine game, wore cute items to take photobooth pictures and enjoyed filming her leisure time with friends. Kwon Eun-bi’s complete synchronization with the life of a Taiwanese high school student gave viewers a sense of healing.
In particular, she drew attention by having a “girl talk” with friends. She asked her friends if they had boyfriends and shared her dating experiences, exuding her teenage girl vibe. In response to friends’ stories, Kwon Eun-bi wowed everyone when she said, “I’ve dated 123 people so far”.
A friend, who had never dated, revealed her ideal type as a funny and handsome guy who is taller than 180cm and has tanned skin, Kwon Eun-bi bluntly commented, “That’s why you’re still single”. She added, “My ideal type is someone with whom I can communicate well. You guys may not understand this yet”, drawing laughter.
As such, Kim Dong-hyun and Kwon Eun-bi have fully adapted to their second lives and gotten along with local people. The next stories about their second characters will be revealed on “When I Open My Eyes”, which airs every Thursday at 9 p.m.
