Kris Wu’s accuser Du Meizhu speaks out against rumors of her being expelled from university
Faced with pressure from netizens, Du Meizhu – Kris Wu’s accuser has addressed the rumors claiming that she was expelled from school.
Kris Wu’s sex scandal is definitely the biggest scandal of Asia’s entertainment industry in 2021. Notably, the person who completely ruined the male singer’s career is a 19-year-old influencer named Du Meizhu. Her accusations against Kris Wu, exposing all the male star’s misdeeds, shocked the public earlier this year.
However, recently, on social media, Du Meizhu was rumored to be expelled from the prestigious Communication University of China following a series of controversies related to Kris Wu. This rumor caused fans to be confused and worried, especially when Du Meizhu is still young with an uncertain future.
In response to the questions from the media and fans, earlier today (November 8), Du Meizhu shared a long post on Weibo. She started the post by affirming: “Important things need to be said thrice. I am not expelled, I am not expelled, I am not expelled”.
Du Meidzu revealed that she was the one who made the decision to quit her studies at the Communication University, “I left university because I wanted to leave Beijing – a city that made me sad and depressed – so that I could regain my health. It was difficult for me to leave my teachers, friends, and the school I used to have many memories of. University is very important to me. I don’t want to put an end to my studies just because of some people or events.”
Du Meidzu also hinted at her new home by checking in Shanghai and said that she would try her best to get into a new university. The 19-year-old influencer said that she would take legal actions if someone slandered or fabricated malicious rumors about her.
Additionally, Du Meidzu also shared the application to withdraw from university for personal reasons and her teachers’ messages encouraging her to take good care of herself.
As for Kris Wu, currently, there has not been any new reports on the male singer’s sex and drug scandals. Fans are still waiting for actions from the authorities regarding this.
