Kpop Idols’ Most Hilarious Airport Fashion Moments

When Kpop idols appear at the airport, they often flaunt their eye-catching fashion styles. But sometimes these idols turn the airport into a runway for some fun, interesting, and even eccentric fashion moments.

BTS

On June 10, 2019, at Incheon Airport, BTS showed up wearing sunflower hats. The vibrant looks from BTS membership got netizens buzzing, trying to figure out what’s going on. Turns out, it was a punishment for members who lost a game on the Run! BTS show – J-Hope, Suga, and Jimin took the hit. The members thought the punishment was a bit too easy, and J-Hope even confessed that those sunflower hats were just adorable.

BLACKPINK’s Rosé

After performing at the Born Pink World Tour in Hanoi, Rosé headed back to Korea, and created a stir with her BLACKPINK plushies pants that were like nothing you’ve ever seen. It was a punishment for Rosé after losing a bet with the other members. But you wouldn’t know it from the way she confidently wore the unique pants, doing a robot dance in front of the Korean media. Rosé even started a trend of wearing pants with plushies sticked on!

BTOB’s Changsub (BTOB)

Changsub once decided to go all out with a Tin Man costume right at the airport. His facial expressions and overall vibe had everyone laugh out loud. Even though it was supposed to be a punishment, Changsub went all out, striking poses just to get a laugh out of the fans. To this day, it’s still one of the quirkiest airport outfits from an idol.

RIIZE

Rookie boy group RIIZE all showed up at the airport looking stylish and all, but when you take a closer look at Anton and Eunseok’s bags, it’s a stark contrast. Anton brought a super large bag, like he was ready for a month-long business trip, while Eunseok was carrying a tiny bag. Hilarious size difference.

Super Junior

Super Junior are the kings of fun and goofiness. They have cosplayed as cartoon characters, movie characters, you name it, at the airport. Every single time, they gave fans a good laugh with looks that wouldn’t be out of place in a circus troupe.

TWICE’s Nayeon

Back in 2017, TWICE came to Da Nang for a travel show. On their way back to Korea, Nayeon wore a Vietnam’s conical hat, or “non la”, but she threw in all kinds of accessories and clothes that didn’t quite match. Nayeon’s outfit was a bit of a “disaster,” but she was smiling brightly. Turns out, she lost a bet within the group and had to become the unintentional center of attention at the airport.
