There is recently the news that “My Mister” will have a Chinese remake. According to rumors that arose in November last year, the remake production will be carried out with the participation of actor/director Chen Jianbin and “A Love So Beautiful” actress Shen Yue.

Lee Sun Kyun’s character Park Dong Hoon will be played by Mark Chao, who is already familiar to drama fans with his performance as Director Oh in “Misaeng” remake. The role of Lee Ji An portrayed by IU in the Korean version will be taken by Liu Hao Cun, a rookie actress who made her debut in “One Second” by director Zhang Yimou.

Although it is not yet confirmed through an official announcement, Chinese netizens are already looking forward to the drama. Some people raise high expectations because the cast members give a similar vibe to the original actors, while some are worried about the new drama because it’s not easy to create a remake that can surpass the original version.
